A 15 MILE JOURNEY

On 10/27/06 8am – from LIRR, Jamaica, Queens, New York to City Hall in New York.

1.Walking to save one million HIV/AIDS orphans in Zambia. 80% of the Orphans are homeless and on the street.
2.Walking to help fight HIV in Zambia. 1.0 million Zambians are HIV Positive, Only 12 thousand have access to ANTI-RETROVIRAL THERAPY (ART) 8,000 through government facilities, and 4000 in private institutions (Zambia National HIV/AIDS Board).
3. Walking to save the lives of women, 60% of HIV infections in Zambia are women ages 15 - 45.
4.Walking to fight POVERTY in Zambia. Zambia has a 98% UNEMPLOYMENT rate. Zambia is one of the five poorest countries in the word. For more information please visit www.savezambiasfuture.org
